The South Pasadena Tournament of Roses (SPTOR) Construction Team is the backbone of our float, building the framework that brings our vision to life. From welding and animation to operating construction equipment and tools, our team ensures every mechanical and structural detail is parade-ready. Hello everyone!
We had our Mechanical Inspection (MI) this morning and passed with a few minor open items to complete. Construction can now start in earnest and our next inspection is our first Technical Inspection (T1) and drive test in the next couple months. For information on how to volunteer please go on over to our Volunteer Page on our website. If you're interested in volunteering and/or learning construction, we want to hear from you!
If you or someone you know has experience in construction, welding, hydraulics, animation, sculpting, or related fields, we'd love to hear from you! Skilled volunteers make a huge difference, and your expertise would be greatly appreciated.
